Psychology & International Cooperation
Original from Madrid and living in Barcelona since two years ago. Being always curious to understand human relations I started my studies in Psychology, having the chance to finish my last year in Germany. This experience really awaken my enthusiasm to be open to international environments, loving to be impressed by different personalities, ideas and perspectives. Later I studied a Postgraduate in International Cooperation and had some experiences collaborating in the nonprofit sector, from big international development organizations to small local initiatives. At certain point it became clear to me that to make these initiatives possible we needed to adopt new alternatives, where innovation and social participation were essential. I wondered about ways to reach to the people and make them want to be a part of the change. For that purpose I have started a Postgraduate in Corporative Communitacion. Meanwhile I collaborate in a little crowdfunding platform called Smilemundo.

In his professional career, he has worked with content management systems and as a freelance writer for an online newspaper in The Hague. In the meantime, he collaborated on a web-design project for a spin-off degree of his studies, whereby he was responsible for social media content research and positioning. He was involved in media production, editing and other technical know-hows that were of use in the different projects. In Barcelona, he is working together with a new start-up for services called hereBarcelona.
Other than his professional life, Rosen tries to want more but have less, engaging with different communities and projects where mutual aid and smiley people are involved.
Urban Social Change
Originally from Estonia, I came to Barcelona 5 years ago. I finished my BA in Modern and Contemporary Studies (Humanities) in the summer of 2013 and am now a Candidate of Spatial Planning in the Autonomous University of Barcelona. My Bachelors degree’s final dissertation was on civic participation in the development of public spaces of Barcelona and ever since I defended my thesis, I’ve been focusing on matters associated to urban social change. Even though I work as a tour guide with foreign visitors, I have a high interest towards projects that aim to strengthen the economy on a local, neighborhood level as I believe all social change should come from the grassroots level. I am also interested in obtaining new skills of visual communication as I think it is the most powerful tool for raising public interest and for maintaining community-driven societies.
Economics, Marketing & Anthropology
Born in Barcelona, I have done most of my studies in Paris. First a BA and an MA in economics and marketing and just finished a master’s research in anthropology at the Ecole de hautes etudes de Paris. My goal is to make companies a more human place, where the customer is a participant in the decision-making of the business strategy. I am currently working on some development projects and being interested in the cooperative movement and collaborative economy. I’m enthusiastic and I’m still a dreamer.

Edgar Aguilar Arenales
I´m a multidisciplinary designer from Guatemala, currently based in Barcelona, Spain.
I like to work in any kind of project that involves creative thinking to develop new strategies to approach any kind of challenge.
In my design process I spend a lot of time investigating and learning, I believe it is fundamental to keep track of what’s going on in arts, culture, design, architecture, technology, etc. It’s all about building a strong knowledge base and start building from there.
Another thing that feeds my creative nerve is experimentation; this gives me sort of a freedom feeling that often results very surprising paths to follow, but most importantly ends up in knowledge.
I trust in simplicity, as a designer it is fundamental to believe in this, the world is a better place when you think and design this way.
I like teamwork, results are always better and often you get to know interesting people.
Currently I’m working in visual communication projects, space & product design.
