Josep Baga

The ability of Josep Bagà to adopt different visual registers has led him to work recently on the art direction of “Gran Teatre del Liceu”–the iconic Barcelona Opera House– and at the same time on “Moog Barcelona”, an active club of international electronic music. His professional approach to global communication sees design as an instrument to express an organization’s corporate identity, to nurture the brand and leverage profile. He collaborates with public and private companies in corporate identity, editorial design, product image, graphics for exhibitions, industry, culture and leisure.



Eugeni Boix Prats

Eugeni has a BA in Translation of English and Chinese and a MA in EU–China bilateral relations, both from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He worked as an Interpreter at police stations in Barcelona, sold olive oil and wine in China and purchased promotional items. He is currently collaborating with the City Council on some projects such as 15*2, for which he provides some backup with translations, documentation and report writing. He is enjoying the experience and learning many things.



Mercè Garcia

Born and raised in Barcelona, Mercè has a BA in Social Pedagogy from Ramon Llull University, and specific training in Local Development (UB), Local Government (UAB) and Urban Business Models (UB). She works in the Public Administration on economic promotion programs.

I’m a mix of UX Strategist & Service Designer driven to make people happy. I believe that organizations are more profitable and happy when they look beyond financial results. I co-work with organizations and teams to understand problems, identify needs and constraints to create valuable products and services that meet business goals and customers needs. We look at the big picture to ensure a path to increase value and benefits across channels for all the actors.



Monica Carbonell

Founder of Sodabites. A collaborative Brand Innovation Lab with a new approach on Marketing and Branding based on building relationships that generates value for both, people and brands. Mònica has +14 years of marketing and communications multidisciplinary background. Ranging from creative execution of brand communication campaigns, strategic planning, trend analysis and consumer research. She started her journey in DDB (advertising agency) as a copywriter. After that, she worked as a Creative Planner for Added Value (Brand Strategy Consultants) where she joined the trend analysis panel and developed research projects and strategy for clients such as Planeta Group, Font Vella, CHNY, Coca Cola, TMB, Dockers, Heineken, Time Out Barcelona, La Caixa, etc. She facilitates workshops and talks on Cultural Branding and on Trends and Innovation in Spain and Brazil.



Graham Eisner

Graham Eisner worked for ten years in the wealth management division of Goldman Sachs, then called Private Client Services. Based in London, he ran a business which focused on entrepreneurs based in UK and Ireland with his team responsible for managing in excess of GBP 1bn in assets at its peak.
Graham decided to leave Goldman Sachs in 2000 in order to satisfy his own entrepreneurial curiosity. He has invested in a number of start-up businesses and acted as an advisory consultant to them including mentoring the founders and key executives. In addition, over the past five years he has built up a consulting business focused on senior corporate executives, entrepreneurs and professionals in the private banking industry. The objective has been to help develop their sales skills and, as a result, develop more business with new and existing clients.



Carlos Iglesias

Member at the Barcelona Agile community. Technological & Online Marketing Consultant, Co-founder @ Runroom. Media projects manager, specialized in web development architectures, interactive design, digital marketing and usability. Specialties: Consulting and web strategy, digital marketing, e-commerce, RIA applications, user centered design, Web development.



Yoel Karaso

Yoel Karaso, grew up in Barcelona but have studied extensively outside of Spain. He has worked with prominent architect such as Dominique Perrault in Paris and Mack Scogin and Merrill Elam in the U.S.. He is one of the co-Founder of MOB Makers of Barcelona as well as partner at Habitan Architects. He has been a visiting professor at Catholic University of America, University of Southern California as well as University of Texas San Antonio.



Ricard Ruiz de Querol

Strategic thinker, passionate about the future of technology and society. Initially trained initally on Theoretical Physics (Ph. D. from MIT), later towards Information Society (Ph. D. at the Open University of Catalonia).
I have experienced several professional lives during the last 30 years, mostly in the ICT sector. My last stints: Director of Information Society in Barcelona; Consultant on Social Media in Barcelona Media.

Cecilia Tham

Cecilia Tham has her upbringing in Hong Kong, her education in the US, and her professional experience here in Spain. She studied first biology and later received her Master in Architecture from Harvard University, and while in Spain, her vision has become MAKERS OF BARCELONA, a collaborative community and facility for the innovative hipsters, the creative geeks and the business-savvy movers and shakers that call Barcelona home. Cecilia has been a speaker at TEDx Taipei, TEDx ESADE, as well as Open FAD Conference. She is a regular contributer to the newspaper Le Economic. She has been a visiting lecturer at University of Southern California, Catholic University of America, and University of Texas San Antonio as well as visiting professor at Parson School of Design. She is also the founder of MADE Makerspace and FabCafe Barcelona.
